I was the original “chiropractic chicken.” All my life I have been afraid of chiropractors. When I met Dr. Anacker and listened to how she helped children and pregnant women, I decided to try her. Am I ever glad I did! She performed a very thorough exam with x-rays. She described in great detail what was wrong with my back and why I was in pain. Then she outlined a treatment plan and everything made sense. This gave me great comfort and peace of mind.

Before my first adjustment we talked at length about my fears. She explained what was going to happen and put me at ease. Now I’m a very happy Anacker Clinics patient! My son Adin battled ear infections for months. After several rounds of antibiotics, his pediatrician recommended we have tubes surgically placed. I did not want this, so we consulted with Dr. Anacker and began treatment.

After about a month, Adin’s ear infections were completely gone and he hasn’t had one since. His temperament is also better, and his sleeping patterns are much more regular. We are expecting again and intend to have this baby seen by Doctor Anacker as well.

About six years ago, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and a connective tissue disorder. This causes constant, extreme pain throughout my body, and it requires me to use pain medication. Before coming to see Dr. Anacker, I had headaches frequently (and these were debilitating), and I never had good days. I struggled to make it through each day, looking forward to going to bed in the evening.

Since seeing Dr. Anacker for only a few months, I have had a few days, here and there of really good days. These days are the equivalent of rolling back the age of my body by about seven years! This is amazing! Dr. Anacker’s care is the only change I have made in my routine during this time, so there is nothing else that could have made these changes.

Headaches are much rarer for me now; sleep is deeper and more refreshing than before. I am much more productive than I have been in the past couple of years! I know chiropractic care is expensive, but try to put a price on how much better I feel - I can’t, because it is priceless! I thank God for leading me to Dr. Anacker, through my dear sister (Viv), and creating a miracle in me. If I can feel these changes in just a few months, how much better will I feel in a year or two?

As a dentist, I began wrestling with upper back and neck issues about three years into my practicing career. Never really understanding the cause, I compensated for four years with exercising, massages, corrective eye lenses and special settings on my patient chairs.

While all of these measures were good, only Dr. Anacker truly got to the heart of the matter and helped me see, through watching my video tape, of how I was hurting myself each day. Just last month, my pain became so acute I was concerned that my career as a dentist was coming to a rapid end. When I first met Dr. Anacker I had fallen from 10-15 feet and couldn’t walk. She met with me, my husband, and Arlena on a Sunday evening to take x-rays and see what the situation was. I had a break in one of my vertebrae and she was so cautious and helpful.

After finding out what the exact problem was she was excellent at explaining treatment & giving me tools to help aid what she was doing. She cared more about me and how I was doing than any other doctor I’ve had. She gave me contact information to call her whenever I needed – and I did in the middle of the night, and she was so caring and helpful, and she called me to check on me and I was so impressed.

After three days of treatment I was walking almost completely normal, and after two weeks from the day I started with Dr. Anacker I was walking normally again. I continually and rapidly got better and better with the healing power of God and Dr. Anacker’s expertise and help. Three months after the injury I started back into my exercise routines and have been great ever since. Thanks God! And thanks Dr. Anacker!

I first saw Dr. Anacker in March 2007 with severe neck and back pain from previous car accidents and degenerative disc disease. My career requires long periods of sitting in front of a computer; not good for my back. I was in such pain that it affected my mental health as well as my physical health.

What most impressed me about Dr. Anacker was that she spent a lot of time with me and shared valuable information in order for me to manage my career and my health. After 35 years of chiropractic care, I can tell you that Dr. Anacker is at the top of my list as the BEST. I take her advice about my long term care seriously.
