My son Adin battled ear infections for months. After several rounds of antibiotics, his pediatrician recommended we have tubes surgically placed. I did not want this, so we consulted with Dr. Anacker and began treatment.

After about a month, Adin’s ear infections were completely gone and he hasn’t had one since. His temperament is also better, and his sleeping patterns are much more regular. We are expecting again and intend to have this baby seen by Doctor Anacker as well

I was the original “chiropractic chicken.” All my life I have been afraid of chiropractors. When I met Dr. Anacker and listened to how she helped children and pregnant women, I decided to try her. Am I ever glad I did!

She performed a very thorough exam with x-rays. She described in great detail what was wrong with my back and why I was in pain. Then she outlined a treatment plan and everything made sense. This gave me great comfort and peace of mind.

Before my first adjustment we talked at length about my fears. She explained what was going to happen and put me at ease. Now I’m a very happy Anacker Clinics patient! As a dentist, I began wrestling with upper back and neck issues about three years into my practicing career. Never really understanding the cause, I compensated for four years with exercising, massages, corrective eye lenses and special settings on my patient chairs.

While all of these measures were good, only Dr. Anacker truly got to the heart of the matter and helped me see, through watching my video tape, of how I was hurting myself each day. Just last month, my pain became so acute I was concerned that my career as a dentist was coming to a rapid end. Through Dr. Anacker’s expert training and open mind, she pieced together my story and is giving me a new start. In just 10 days I am 95% better and very hopeful.

Meet Dr. Jennifer L. Anacker, Chiropractor

Dr. Jennifer L. Anacker offers comprehensive chiropractic care for the entire family with an emphasis in pediatric chiropractic. Her practice is founded on the mission to create peak performance in the health of as many children, men, and women as possible through the power of the chiropractic adjustment and the wellness lifestyle.

For more than six years, Anacker Clinics of Chiropractic – with offices in downtown Boise and Meridian – have consistently raised the standard of chiropractic care in the Treasure Valley. Dr. Anacker has participated in research on the safety and efficiency of chiropractic for pregnancy and pediatric care.

She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the State of Idaho. She is also a member of the Palmer Alumni Association, Circle of Life, the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians, the International Chiropractic Association, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Dr. Anacker has been featured as a weekly guest on the radio program Sharp Talk and has also been a guest lecturer for many organizations and conferences on topics including Women in Chiropractic, Women’s Health, Peak Performance, The Wellness Child, Backpack Safety, Office Ergonomics, and Stress Effects on Your Health.

Dr. Anacker invests her personal time enhancing lives in the Treasure Valley through volunteering with the Junior League of Boise. She is also a member of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University, Dr. Anacker received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Anacker has received numerous awards for her quality performance and commitment to chiropractic excellence. Her autobiography is one of thirty featured in the upcoming book, 100 Years of Women in Chiropractic, Head, Heart, Hands.

Meet Our Chiropractic Assistants

Arlena is the Office Manager for the Meridian Clinic. She makes sure that our patients and their families enjoy warm, friendly, efficient care and services. Arlena has lived in Idaho for 15 years, but grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She works to fulfill her calling to minister the Word of the Lord and enjoys family life with her sons and her grandchildren.

In addition to being a Chiropractic Assistant and Community Liaison for both Anacker Clinics, Kelsey also manages Dr. Anacker’s speaking engagements. Kelsey just completed her B.S. degree in Health Promotions from Boise State University and is very active in her church community. Just married in September 2007, Kelsey and her husband are excitedly expecting a baby in September 2008.

Stefenee is a Chiropractic Assistant for both the Boise and Meridian Anacker Clinics who is famous for her warm, welcoming smile! She enjoys music and the arts and also serves in and through her local church. Originally from Boise, Stefenee is a student at the Church of the Harvest School of Ministry.

Lisa is the lead Chiropractic Assistant for the Boise clinic. She has been in the Boise area for 8 years and enjoys riding her recumbent bicycle and spending time in the 'outdoors'. Lisa is married and has a 17 yr. old son.

Dr. Christie Hafer is a Chiropractor in training. She will be interning at Anacker Clinics for the next few months. She is a Midwest native, recently married with a young toddler son that keeps her busy. Christie enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, and a variety of sports. She is looking forward to all the adventures Idaho has to offer.

Help us welcome Dr. Christie to The Anacker Clinics. We are very excited to have her be a part of our Chiropractic team. Dr. Christie will be observing chiropractic adjustments, learning office procedures, secretary duties, taking films, and helping with re-evaluations.
